Thankful

Right now I am thankful for a family that is all healthy and all together here under one warm roof on this wintry night.  Sleeping children, snuggling husband.  I am thankful that I am able to stay home and work.  And for these ridiculously warm, fuzzy socks.  For the fire.  For the fabulous homemade sugar cookies I just made with the huge sugar crystals on top.  For my caramel macchiato coffee. 

Right now is just about perfect.  Simple.  But perfect. 

Christmas is in the air ~ the fire, the decorations but most importantly the spirit.
